- Collecting samples in the field
- Processing field samples to remove contaminants
- Analyzing field samples for microplastics
- Maintaining a safe and clean laboratory environment
- Producing summaries and reports on laboratory findings
- Attending research group meetings
- Disseminating findings to the public through posters and presentations
Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications
- Current UVU student
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Completed (and passed) CHEM 1220 - Chemistry
- Chemistry or physics majors preferred
