Student Radiology Technologist

About the role

A Student Radiologic Technologist is responsible for providing radiological health care to the Pediatric Imaging Department through the performance of completing radiologic examinations ordered by appropriate medical personnel under the direction of a registered radiology technologist.

Responsibilities

• Performing under the direction of a registered radiology technologist

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Radiology Technology program
• Essential Associates Degree in Radiology Technology
• Experience with equivalent qualifications in Diagnostic Radiology

Qualifications

• Medical specialty focused on using medical Imaging to diagnose diseases and injuries within the body
• Involves portable and stationary X-ray machines as well as X-ray fluoro machines
• Used to create images that Radiologists interpret to identify and assess health conditions

Skills

• Understanding of medical imaging techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
