About the Role
As our Student Rad Tech, you will gain hands-on experience supporting diagnostic imaging to aid accurate patient diagnosis. You will assist in performing various imaging examinations (X-rays), learning patient positioning, and contributing to positive patient experiences under supervision. CT and MRI procedures are not included in this role.
Responsibilities
- Performs limited diagnostic radiographic procedures, excluding CT, contrast media, and mammographic equipment.
- Provides safe, knowledgeable, age-specific patient care in a holistic manner.
- Delivers patient education and responds to patient and customer concerns.
- Completes documentation of patient x-ray records and Quality Control processes.
- Performs value-added activities that contribute to positive financial performance and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Current enrollment at the senior level in a school of Radiologic Technology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
- Medical Radiographer Temporary: NE license, upon hire or Limited Radiologic Technologist: NE license, upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - CPR certification, upon hire.
- Strong eagerness to learn, attention to detail, excellent communication, and a foundational understanding of imaging principles.
- Commitment to mastering workflow and image quality.

Pay
$21.85 - $30.87 per hour.
