Student Radiologic Tech

About the role

Gains hands-on experience supporting diagnostic imaging to aid accurate patient diagnosis. Assists in performing various imaging examinations (X-rays, MRI), learns patient positioning, and contributes to positive patient experiences under supervision.

Responsibilities

- Performs limited diagnostic radiographic procedures. - Ensures safe, knowledgeable age-specific patient care in a holistic manner. - Provides patient education and responds to patient and customer concerns. - Completes documentation of patient x-ray record and Quality Control processes. - Performs value-added activities that result in positive financial performance and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

- Current enrollment at the senior level in a school of Radiologic Technology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT), upon hire. - Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire.

Qualifications

- Medical Radiographer Temporary: NE, upon hire or - Limited Radiologic Technologist: NE, upon hire.
