Student Radiologic Tech
About the Role
As our Student Rad Tech, you will gain hands-on experience supporting diagnostic imaging to aid accurate patient diagnosis. You will assist in performing various imaging examinations (X-rays), learning patient positioning, and contributing to positive patient experiences under supervision.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn, attention to detail, excellent communication, and a foundational understanding of imaging principles, committed to mastering workflow and image quality.
Responsibilities
- Performs limited diagnostic radiographic procedures (excluding CT, contrast media, and mammographic equipment).
- Performs and ensures safe, knowledgeable age-specific patient care in a holistic manner.
- Provides patient education and responds to patient and customer concerns.
- Completes documentation of patient x-ray record and Quality Control processes.
- Performs value-added activities that result in positive financial performance and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Current enrollment at the senior level in a school of Radiologic Technology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT), upon hire.
- Medical Radiographer Temporary: NE, upon hire or Limited Radiologic Technologist: NE, upon hire.
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire.

$21.85 - $30.87 / hour
