About the role

The Radiology Technician Student, under the supervision of a Registered Technologist, performs duties involving various technical procedures using ionizing radiation for detecting pathology. Responsibilities include producing high-quality diagnostic images and ensuring anatomical correctness for Radiologists. Additionally, the Student is responsible for practicing radiation safety and adhering to departmental safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical procedures using ionizing radiation for detecting pathology
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Ensure anatomical correctness of images for Radiologists
• PRACTICE RADIATION SAFETY and adhere to departmental safety procedures
• May have additional duties assigned within the scope of the role

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Currently enrolled in a School of Radiologic Technology
• BLS required
