Imaging Student - Radiology
Responsibilities
- Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations.
- Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs.
- Participates in PI/QC activities.
- Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Currently attending an accredited health care educational program for radiologic technology.
- Meet state requirements for exemption from licensing to operate x-ray equipment. Documentation of state exemption required in personnel file.
- Completion of their first year curriculum requirements.
- Current BCLS (AHA).
- At least one year of clinical experience in the radiology technologist program required.
- Proficient computer skills.
Pay
Competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $18.86. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
