Radiology Student

About the Role

Performs imaging procedures and treatments following radiology standards to support diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Also responsible for performing additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Applies radiologic principles and selects appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal procedures.
• Develops and implements procedure/treatment plans in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies.
• Maintains equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold quality standards.
• Achieves departmental goals effectively.

Requirements

• Enrolled in an accredited radiology program.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Basic computer literacy skills.
