About the role
The Production Intern will support Operation Smile Student Programs in preparing and publishing engaging multimedia content for their social media networks and website.
Responsibilities
- Interview relevant audience members for comment around Operation Smile and Student Programs initiatives and events
- Create digital graphics for use across social media platforms and the Student Programs website
- Create print graphics for use on T-shirts, notebooks and other materials as needed
- Paginate toolkits and reports that will serve as print- and digital-friendly guides for Student Programs volunteers
- Manage Box file system of Student Programs multimedia assets
- Additional duties as necessary or assigned
Requirements
- Attendance at an accredited university working towards a degree in communication or graphic arts
- Third or Fourth year of college
- Advanced writing skills, video editing, social media management
- Experienced in using Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint
- Canva proficiency preferred
- Previous involvement with Operation Smile preferred
- Experience working in content-driven environments, such as a school newspaper or yearbook

- Keen eye for creative and engaging design
- Savvy user of social media and digital platforms
- Multimedia skills – including photography and videography – a plus
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic, detail-oriented and well organized
