Job Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinates the clinical clearance process for nurse anesthesiology students/residents, including verifying clearances from external vendors, reviewing student clinical clearance documents, submitting verifications to clinical agencies, and maintaining clinical clearance records.
Responds to questions related to background checks, drug screenings, immunization records, clinical facility training, and other clinical clearance requirements.
Manages databases and document management systems for clinical clearances, clinical preceptor qualifications, and other compliance-related data.
Supports logistical coordination of clinical activities, such as resident site placement, managing resident placement records, developing resident clinical schedules, participating in resident clinical site onboarding, and overseeing the clinical platform used by residents to log cases, hours, and other clinical statistics.
Actively supports the program’s strategic objectives by promoting clinical site development opportunities through community outreach.
Provides administrative support for Nurse Anesthesiology program initiatives and events, including applicant interviews, student orientation and onboarding, student events, and graduation activities.
Participates in Nurse Anesthesiology program strategic planning and continuous quality improvement initiatives related to clinical education, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of program effectiveness, student learning outcomes, and achievement of long-term program goals.
Qualifications
Education and Experience: High School diploma + 3 years of relevant experience or an Associate's Degree + 1 year of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Special Certification/Licensure.
