STUDENT PASTOR/DIRECTOR

The Role

This is a full-time position contributing to the overall mission of Redland Hills Church to help people connect with God, build community, and show compassion to our world.

Responsibilities

• Build discipling relationships with students and encourage their growth in Christ.
• Look for opportunities to reach the unchurched in our community.
• Lead and encourage a volunteer team that loves and ministers to students.
• Be responsible for student programming 7th-12th grade.
• Equip and communicate with parents to help them be a spiritual leader in their student’s life.
• Build relationships in the community to partner and serve.

Requirements

• Is passionate about and loves the local church.
• Has a heart for students growing in Jesus.
• Is a visionary who can implement a plan to grow students and parents in their walk with Jesus.
• Is a self-starter with a solid work ethic.
• Has completed a degree (seminary a plus, but not required).
• Is a relationship builder who thrives on making connections with others.
• Is an effective communicator of God’s word.
• See student ministry within the context of the overall mission of the church.
• Is a team player and highly collaborative.
• Is in agreement with the RHC Statement of Faith.

Pay

$45,000 - $60,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-Time – 40 Hours/Week.
