About the role

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) seeks a dynamic, student-centered, and forward-thinking Student Organizations Coordinator to provide visionary leadership. The Student Organizations Coordinator will oversee, advise, and support the activities of Registered Student Organizations (RSOs). This position oversees campus processes for RSO event management, advising and support, as well as RSO travel. Through a combination of advising, training, and experiential learning, students will be supported to develop leadership skills and abilities to build and maintain strong, effective organizations. This position reports to the Director of Student Organizations and works regularly with department staff responsible for RSO finances. This position is part of a collaborative team of professionals supporting student engagement across a wide range of areas that also include student government, campus activities, orientation, and the student union.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, advise, and support the activities of Registered Student Organizations (RSOs).
• Manage campus processes for RSO event management, advising and support, as well as RSO travel.
• Support students in developing leadership skills and abilities through advising, training, and experiential learning.
• Collaborate with a team of professionals supporting student engagement, including student government, campus activities, orientation, and the student union.
• Work regularly with department staff responsible for RSO finances.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in higher education student affairs or event management.
• Demonstrated experience in leadership development, advising, student development, and event management.

Pay

The annual salary range for this role is up to $43,888. The final offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience, as well as applicable state regulations, internal equity, and business needs.
