Student Nurse (RN) Extern Program

This role is designed for current nursing students nearing graduation, providing a valuable experiential learning opportunity under the supervision of registered nurses. The Student Nurse Extern (SNE) delivers basic patient care, including hygiene, vital signs, and comfort measures, while adhering to safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards. Key responsibilities include supporting patient-centered careassisting with daily activitiescommunicating effectively with the healthcare team, patients, and familiesparticipating in team initiatives and professional development activities The role requiresexcellent communication and organization skills , the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment , and competence in basic medical terminology and electronic health records. Qualifications include completion of at least one clinical rotation in an acute care settingcurrent enrollment in a recognized nursing programvalid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Candidates should possessstrong interpersonal skills , attention to detail , and the ability to work under stress.
