Responsibilities

• Assists with activities to assist the patient in meeting basic human needs including but not limited to nutrition, hydration, mobility, comfort, elimination, socialization, rest, and hygiene.
• Collects, reports and documents simple data.

Requirements

Currently matriculating in an accredited Nursing Program
Successful completion of one semester of Nursing Clinical with expected graduation as a RN within 1-2 years
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills needed to assist in providing patient care
Good organizational skills
Personal maturity, accuracy and flexibility

Qualifications

• Nursing Program matriculation
• One semester of Nursing Clinical completed
• Expected graduation as a RN within 1-2 years
• BLS competency

Education

• High School Graduate or equivalent required
• Current enrollment in an accredited nursing program
• Completion of at least one clinical rotation

License/Certification

• BLS competent
