Nursing Assistant - Per Diem

About the role
Our Nursing Assistants will function under the supervision of the licensed Registered Nurse and provide basic nursing care to ensure the safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and protection of our patients. They will recognize, obtain, document, and report data to appropriate staff, partner with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs, and advocate for patients through safety intervention, emotional support, and education.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse
- Ensure the safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and protection of patients
- Recognize, obtain, document, and report patient data to appropriate staff
- Partner with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, RNs, and ancillary staff, to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Advocate for patients and build meaningful relationships through safety intervention, emotional support, and education
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Nursing Assistant Certification & Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications are required
- In lieu of Nursing Assistant certification, prior/recent nursing assistant experience OR completion of one year of a formal RN program will be accepted
Qualifications
- Passion for patient care
- Prior or recent Nursing Assistant experience preferred
Pay
USD $30.81 per hour. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include bonuses, incentive pay, differential pay, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable.
