Student Night School Supervisor

About the role

The Chelmsford Public Schools is now accepting applications for the following anticipated vacancy for the 2026–2027 school year. The District reserves the right to change this vacancy or not fill this vacancy based on further staffing changes, enrollment, or budget.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Chelmsford High School Principal as needed.
• Responsible for any emergencies that may arise.
• Set up and breakdown of classrooms, physical meeting space, open instructional areas, and technology assistance as required.
• Check and submit student work paystubs.
• Act as a liaison between night school and day school administration.
• Work with the school’s online platform to set up classes for students.
• Handle required paperwork as directed.
• Be available during the school week to assist students and/or administration.
• Troubleshoot and work with the online platform to help address student and school problems.
• Supervise student performance and progress.
• Prepare final grade reports.
• Oversee management of the school program.
• Handle discipline matters as needed.
• Work with technology to ensure appropriate software is loaded on computers.
• Collect bi-weekly payroll time sheets.
• Be available one night per week to meet with students who need assistance.
• Perform other duties as required for a successful program.

Schedule

• Part-time position with 5 hours per week.
• After-school/evening position.
• Employee at will.

Pay

Salary: $2,500 stipend.
