About the Role
The Area Supervisor serves as the primary company representative for the designated area. This role is responsible for coordinating and directing all operational and personnel activities to ensure high client satisfaction and account retention.
Responsibilities
- Adjust work schedules of account personnel through clear and concise verbal and written work orders.
- Interview, train, instruct, and assign work to custodial crews and leads.
- Ensure leads follow the Area Manager's instructions at sites.
- Complete and maintain reports for timekeeping, incident reports (injury and property), and maintenance records.
- Manage area supply inventory, distribute and deliver supplies and equipment to custodial staff, and submit requests for cleaning equipment to the Branch Manager.
- Enforce company policies and procedures.
- Review and ensure adherence to account requirements.
- Conduct on-site inspections to ensure consistent property maintenance.
- Address client complaints, escalate when necessary, and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
- Maintain good client relations and ensure satisfaction with services.
- Review weekly site budget performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Solicit new or additional business and provide quotes for services.
- Promote a commitment to safety by practicing safe work habits.
- Monitor and ensure site contractual obligations are met.
- Communicate effectively in both written and oral English and Spanish.
- Conduct regular training sessions for employees on job procedures and safety.
- Ensure all supplies, materials, and work meet company quality standards.
- Conduct regular meetings with supervisors and leads to review ongoing work, procedures, and problems.
- Perform job-site visits/inspections to maintain company quality standards.
- Maintain the operating condition and security of all tools and equipment owned, leased, or rented by the company.
- Meet with customers regularly to ensure their needs are met and solicit additional work outside the contract.
- Perform any other related duties as directed by the Operations Manager.
Requirements
- Janitorial experience.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Reliable transportation.
Schedule
Sunday–Thursday, third shift.

Additional Information
This position reports to Sarina Medina and requires travel. The following screenings are required: fingerprinting, employment verification, criminal background check, and drug screen.
