Night Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Aid in the training of the cleaning team.
• Oversight and performance of cleaning operations in assigned buildings.
• Management of key and access card security for the property.
• Reporting work orders for maintenance.
• Ensuring quality of jobs and confirming completion with the manager.
• Checking supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
• Completing order forms accurately and completely.
• Coordination of equipment usage and inventories.
• Maintenance of daily shift reports for managers.
• Communication with Account Managers to monitor and maintain optimal staffing levels.
• Providing technical guidance, interpreting policies and procedures, and assisting front-line employees in performing functional tasks.
• Ensuring shift schedules are complete (days off, vacations, etc.) a week in advance.
• Accommodation of increased/decreased client staffing requests.
• Management of the No-Fault Attendance Policy.
• Performing other duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Two (2) years of Janitorial Supervisor experience is preferred and required.
• Proven ability to manage a large team and/or staff.

About the Role

The Night Supervisor - Janitorial is responsible for the direct oversight of employees at a designated account and/or on a designated shift, including ensuring that productivity levels and customer service requirements are being met. This is a standing and walking post, with regular patrolling of building common areas, lobbies, restrooms, tenant floors, and back-of-house spaces.
