Responsibilities
- Affixing assistance to students during course labs
- Executing basic machining and fabrication tasks under supervision
- Maintaining and operating equipment correctly
- Ensuring the shop remains clean and organized
- Providing support for routine maintenance and repairs
- Maintaining compliance with safety standards and protocols
Qualifications
- Must be a current UVU student (preferably in Engineering or a related field)
- Capable of working with minimal supervision and following directions closely
- Adheres to safety requirements and regulations
- Experience with CNC mills and lathes
- Experience with Fusion 360 CAD/CAM
- Experience with basic welding and fabrication
- Experience with heavy machinery
