Student Intern / Student Worker

About This Job

The purpose of the DEQ Student Internship program is to employ undergraduate and graduate students in fields of study that provide students with work experience and exposure to the environmental regulatory processes and the business operations of a governmental entity. Through this program, students will have increased awareness of environmental matters and encourage students to pursue environmental/governmental careers.

Qualifications

• Enrolled full time in an accredited undergraduate or graduate institution.
• Pursuing an education in a directly related curriculum to the Division that they will be working for (i.e. BS/MS in Biology for OES/Permits, BA in Accounting for Fiscal Services, etc.)
• Please make every effort to attach a copy of your transcript to your application if possible (PDF format preferred).
• Selected candidates will be required to submit original transcripts upon hire reflecting their eligibility for internship status.
