Job Description Wage - $17.20 an hour Schedule available: Wednesday-Thursday 4:30 pm 6:30 pm and Friday - Sunday 4:30 pm 6:30 pm Must be current student attending Joliet Job Corps Center MTC is proud to operate the Joliet Job Corps Center in Joliet, IL where our staff provide quality services to our local youth. What you will be doing: Reports to the supervisor, food services or designee. Assists with cleaning and sanitizing the facility, in compliance with government and management directives. Essential Functions Wash dishes and stock supplies to the services lineClean and sanitize food preparation area, dining area, serving lines, and dish room; comply with health standardsProvide positive, quality customer service to students, staff and other center customersSupport, promote, and enforce the Job Corps’ Zero Tolerance PolicyParticipate in student employability programs and activitiesPromote the development of career success standards by modeling appropriate behaviors, mentoring students where necessary and monitoring both positive and negative behaviors through interventionsMaintain accountability of property; adhere to safety practices; attend all required staff training. Education & Experience Some school/training in food preparation and 90 days on centerAptitude for cafeteria-type duties and dress to comply with sanitation regulationsValid food handler’s permit if required by the state of employment.
