Student Experience (SX) Data Framework Implementation Consultant
About the role
Laramie County Community College (LCCC) is seeking an experienced Student Experience (SX) Data Framework Implementation Consultant to design, implement, and support an enterprise-wide Student Experience (SX) Data Framework that transforms fragmented student data into a unified, actionable, and scalable institutional intelligence platform. The selected consultant will provide strategic advisory services, implement a comprehensive technology solution, integrate institutional systems, develop AI-driven analytics, establish governance frameworks, and support long-term adoption to improve student success, institutional effectiveness, and data-informed decision-making.
Location: Cheyenne, Wyoming (Hybrid – On-site workshops, implementation activities, and stakeholder engagement as required across LCCC campuses)
Duration: Five-Year Strategic Partnership (Implementation, Licensing, Ongoing Support, Maintenance, and Professional Services)
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive Student Experience (SX) Data Framework that integrates quantitative, qualitative, structured, and unstructured student data into a centralized "single source of truth" for institutional decision-making.
- Integrate the SX platform with Student Information Systems (SIS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), CRM platforms, and other institutional systems, including Ellucian Colleague ERP, Canvas LMS, and EAB Navigate CRM.
- Develop scalable data integration architecture utilizing APIs, middleware, identity resolution, and automated synchronization to create persistent longitudinal student profiles.
- Centralize and analyze structured and unstructured data sources, including surveys, advising notes, chat logs, and other student feedback, while incorporating social listening capabilities to evaluate external qualitative data.
- Implement AI-powered Natural Language Processing (NLP), sentiment analysis, predictive analytics, explainable AI (XAI), and continuous model improvement capabilities to identify at-risk students, student experience trends, and institutional improvement opportunities.
- Configure automated workflows, intelligent interventions, case management integration, alerting, escalation processes, and low-code/no-code workflow automation to support proactive student engagement and issue resolution.
- Develop role-based dashboards, self-service reporting capabilities, executive scorecards, and real-time analytics tailored for faculty, advisors, administrators, and institutional leadership.
- Establish Student Experience measurement frameworks by defining key performance indicators (KPIs), student journey maps, assessment strategies, benchmarking methodologies, and longitudinal performance reporting.
- Provide strategic advisory services, governance framework development, organizational change management, implementation planning, training, knowledge transfer, and post-implementation support to ensure long-term sustainability of the SX program.
- Ensure compliance with FERPA, institutional security requirements, data privacy regulations, encryption standards, audit logging, and secure cloud or on-premises deployment practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience delivering Customer Experience (CX), Student Experience (SX), Experience Management, data analytics, or enterprise data integration solutions, preferably within higher education.
- Demonstrated experience implementing enterprise-wide data platforms integrating Student Information Systems (SIS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), CRM platforms, and other institutional technologies.
- Proven experience delivering at least three (3) similar implementations involving enterprise system integration, analytics platforms, dashboards, and institutional reporting solutions.
- Strong expertise in enterprise data integration, API development, middleware, cloud platforms, master data management, data governance, and data quality management.
- Experience implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI), Natural Language Processing (NLP), sentiment analysis, predictive analytics, machine learning, and explainable AI solutions for business intelligence and decision support.
- Experience designing automated workflows, business process automation, case management solutions, workflow orchestration, and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Strong knowledge of higher education operations, student success initiatives, institutional research, student engagement, and experience management frameworks.
- Experience leading organizational change management, governance development, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, implementation roadmaps, training programs, and knowledge transfer initiatives.
- Knowledge of FERPA, higher education privacy regulations, information security best practices, cloud security, encryption, and enterprise compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, executive presentation, facilitation, analytical thinking, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
