User Experience Data Consultant
About the role
Kearney & Company is seeking a User Experience Data Consultant to support one of the Federal government’s largest agencies. Duties include developing reports and dashboards within Foundry, working closely with cross-functional teams, demonstrating excellent writing and communication skills, and directing and reviewing the work of Associates.
Responsibilities
- Development of reports and dashboards within Foundry
- Closely working with cross-functional teams, including finance, procurement, and IT, to understand report requirements
- Demonstrating excellent writing and communication skills as significant time is spent reviewing report requirements, briefing updates to clients, and supporting the documentation and training for new reports
- Directing and reviewing the work of Associates
- Communicating status of project-related tasks to Team Lead and client
Qualifications
- BA/BS/BBA degree from an accredited college/university
- Minimum 4 years of progressive, relevant experience using leading data visualization technologies (Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of user design experience
- Ability to train clients and other team members on implementation and maintenance
- Ability to work in-person 2 days per week in the Alexandria, VA area
- Active Interim Secret Clearance at minimum (requires US citizenship)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with DoW’s War Data Platform (previously Advana)
- Familiarity with Palantir Foundry development and reporting
- Certification in relevant platforms (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Palantir Foundry, Microsoft Power Platform, Salesforce, ServiceNow)
- Experience developing applications on enterprise platforms
- Understanding of application lifecycle, platform governance, and integration patterns
- Experience with scripting (Python, SQL, TypeScript, and Palantir), automation, or low-code tools used within platform environments
- Highly proficient skills in MS Excel
- Experience with developing, reporting, and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Pay
The expected salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $140,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
