About the role
The role involves planning and executing special events and programs to enhance student engagement and support.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement event plans that align with university goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with various departments to secure resources and ensure successful event execution.
- Manage logistics including venue selection, budgeting, and coordination with vendors.
- Coordinate with student organizations to promote participation in events.
- Assist in evaluating event outcomes and providing feedback to improve future events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in event planning and management.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with event management software.
- Knowledge of local venues and vendors.
