About the role
Join the Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) team, where you'll contribute to groundbreaking innovations! We are seeking applicants for an Electrical Engineering Assistant to join our Civil & Commercial Space Division.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists engineers in circuit design, simulation, and testing
- Supports parts tracking
- Designs cables
- Maintains calibration on lab equipment
- Learns from mentors
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled at Utah State University majoring in a related field (i.e., electrical engineering)
- Must have at least one year of school remaining
- Must be able to work 15-20 hours per week during school semesters and up to 40 hours per week during summer
- Must be able to work effectively, both independently and as a team member
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be a US citizen, lawful permanent resident of the US, or other US person
Student Scholar Program
SDL provides unique opportunities for student employees to develop real-world experience and knowledge beyond the classroom through our Student Scholar Program. This program offers monthly technical workshops, outreach activities, and academic stipends to eligible student employees. Pay
The pay for this position is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is flexible, accommodating 15-20 hours per week during school semesters and up to 40 hours per week during summer.
