Responsibilities
- Completes various administrative tasks as assigned.
- Assists at reception desk greeting patients, employees, and visitors upon arrival.
- Professionally answers calls, takes messages, and/or refers callers to appropriate individuals.
- Faxes, scans, and photocopies as directed.
- Performs other duties assigned, including supporting the CHAS Health Mission and Core Values.
Requirements
- Must be a current high school student of junior or senior status.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Computer skills.
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Commitment to supporting a safe and respectful environment.
Physical Demands
- Required to stand, sit, and be mobile one-third to two-thirds of the time.
- Required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel over two-thirds of the time; reaching with hands and arms occurs one-third of the day.
- Climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching occurs less than one-third of the time.
- Communicating occurs constantly throughout the day.
- Lifting occurs about half the time up to 10 lbs and less than one-third of the day from 25-40 lbs. Rarely is there a need to lift more than 41 lbs.

Pay
Compensation Range: $18.85 - $26.09
