Student Assistant, Tops Peer Influencer

About the role

Tops Peer Influencers are dedicated student leaders committed to promoting health and well-being among their peers at Tri-C. These student leaders, trained and certified through the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators’ (NASPA) Certified Peer Educator (CPE) program, play a crucial role in guiding students towards resources and support while facilitating activities that enhance health awareness and holistic well-being. The role emphasizes leadership, education, and positive impact, but does not involve providing medical or mental health counseling.

Responsibilities

• Complete 12-hour CPE Training and 2-hour QPR Suicide Prevention Training (paid trainings).
• Maintain a presence on campus, serving as a resource and referral point for peers.
• Manage a social media presence to share educational content and direct students to resources.
• Participate in the Tri-C Help Is Here weekly “Tops Peer Influencer Committee” meetings to
