About the role
This position provides assistance to students in the Digital Media and Radio/Television programs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current Del Mar College student enrolled in at least 6 credit hours while employed.
- Successful completion or current enrollment in Television Production I (COMM 1336).
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to communicate with students of varied multicultural backgrounds.
- Ability to assist students on the operation of field cameras, audio equipment, editing software and knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to maintain checkout station and digital media/RTV computer lab.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of Television Production I (COMM 1336) preferred.
Job Duties
- Checkout equipment and oversee open computer lab time.
- Assist Digital Media/RTV students with production knowledge for their projects.
- Maintain equipment in the TV studio and equipment checkout areas.
