Student Assistant, School of Medicine Associate Dean-Student Affairs

Minimum Qualifications

• Current JSSOM MD or PA student in good academic and professional standing.
• No history of professionalism issues.
• No course remediations.
• Average score of 70 or higher on all course exams.
• Performance feedback from JSSOM faculty and/or staff may be considered.
• Previous experience with teaching, tutoring, or mentoring is preferred.

MD Eligibility

• Rising MS2s
• Rising MS3s
• Rising MS4s

PA Eligibility

• Rising second years (PAS-2)

Job Duties

• Part-time position, working a minimum of 5 hours per month.
• Organize and host weekly group tutoring sessions for MS1, MS2, and PA-S1 coursework throughout the academic year.
• Hold one-on-one tutoring sessions as requested by MS1, MS2, MS3, and PA-S1 students.
• The position runs through the academic year.

Pay

Commensurate with experience.
