Job Description Summary: Student Assistant – Natural Sciences Laboratory Assistant includes the following disciplines: • Biology • Biotechnology • Chemistry • Geology • Physics
Minimum Qualifications: Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: The Laboratory Assistant must be able to demonstrate knowledge of a litany of skills associated with the laboratory component of biotechnology experimentation. This can be done by referencing successful completion of one or more of the above-mentioned courses, or by evidence citing analogous research skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Successful completion of college-level courses within the respective discipline.
