Your Job Georgia-Pacific is now hiring for Stud Mill Relief Aid Operator at the Taylorsville, MS Stud Mill facility!

Salary

Our starting pay is $22.61/hr.

Shift

This role may require weekends, holidays and overtime when needed

What You Will Do

• Operate CNS and Planer machines, ensuring production and quality standards are met
• Opportunity to learn how to run production equipment (call off, vacation, etc.)
• Applying problem solving methods to identify root causes and eliminate failures
• Performing minor repairs to ensure machine reliability and escalating machine maintenance needs appropriately
• Preventative maintenance, operator basic care and general machine troubleshooting

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Ability to safely operate CNS and Planer machinery or willingness to learn
• Basic mechanical knowledge for greasing, lubricating, and inspecting equipment
• Commitment to maintain a clean and organized work environment

What Will Put You Ahead

• Previous experience operating CNS or Planer machines in a manufacturing or lumber environment
• Familiarity with quality standards for lumber finish, alignment and sizing
• Experience performing machine maintenance
