Basic Job Functions
- In this role, you will design a variety of steel racking systems, including Tuberacks, Drive-In, Cantilever, Pushback, and Pallet Flow racks.
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Creative Engineering: Design safe, efficient, and cost-effective steel racking systems that meet project requirements and comply with applicable codes and standards.
- Technical Analysis: Utilize industry software to analyze structural frames, beams, bracing, mezzanines, and platforms to ensure structural integrity and performance.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with Project Managers, the Design Department, and cross-functional teams to clearly communicate engineering requirements and support seamless project execution.
- Design Review: Review and verify structural drawings for accuracy and compliance.
- Continuous Learning: Pursue ongoing professional development by collaborating across teams, exploring innovative solutions, and building diverse engineering expertise within the organization.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering/Architectural Engineering from an ABET Accredited school.
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam prior to hire date.
- Proficient in verbal and written communication in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- An educational focus on structural engineering.
- Basic knowledge of building construction.
- Understanding of current building codes and standard industry practices.
- Experience in the field of steel rack supported structures.
