About the role
The Planning Layer team is responsible for ensuring that engineering teams effectively coordinate and align around coding agents, which can write 10x more code than humans. This role focuses on mitigating the costs associated with poor planning by leveraging advanced planning tools and methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust planning frameworks for integrating coding agents into existing workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand their needs and challenges in adopting coding agents.
- Design and maintain documentation that guides the integration and usage of coding agents.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to the deployment of coding agents.
- Ensure alignment between different stakeholders (developers, product managers, etc.) regarding the strategic direction and implementation of coding agent strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering or project management.
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Strong understanding of coding agent technology and its applications.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
