About the role

Supply all necessary product, supplies, and equipment to the production line to permit manufacturing of product.

Responsibilities

• Supply necessary product and equipment to the line as required, including boxes, vats, and bags.
• Complete required paperwork or computer record keeping, including products used, by-products, and waste.
• Label all products leaving the area.
• Operate powered pallet jack to move pallets and racks.
• Complete daily equipment checklist prior to operating pallet jack.
• Locate needed product in freezer or cooler for the line.
• Set up and operate scale and tape machine.
• Arrange packing room for the product being run.
• Perform frozen temperature and metal detector checks.
• Advise packers of product type and packing instructions.
• Weigh all boxes to meet minimum weight and counts.
• Check scale for proper tare and ensure proper label, stamp, and date code on boxes.
• Supply necessary materials such as boxes, labels, and bags to the Packing Room.
• Handle part boxes of product and place them in the proper freezer location; pull product from freezer for line operation.
• Stack skids and assist in making boxes and operating the skid wrapper.
• Complete all required paperwork and enter pallet tickets and other information into the computer.
• Maintain a clean work area.

Working Conditions

• High noise exposure.
• Temperature variations from warm to cool to extremely cold.
• Slippery floors.
• Frequent bending, lifting, and twisting throughout the work shift.
• Lifting and stacking product at and above shoulder level.
• Standing, walking, and climbing stairs for up to 8 hours per day.

Wear appropriate PPE and other required equipment.

Requirements

• Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for up to 8 hours per day.
• Frequent bending, lifting, and twisting throughout the work shift.
• Must meet physical abilities evaluation requirements for this position.
• Successful completion of Lock Out/Tag Out, pallet jack, and other required safety training.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States (no work visa sponsorship provided).

Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check is required.

Pay

$21.75 per hour

Schedule

5:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (Hours will vary)
