Structured Cabling Technician

Our client is seeking a Structured Cabling Technician to support ongoing technology infrastructure projects across multiple sites in the Charleston area. This role involves installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting CAT5/CAT6 cabling as part of a large-scale modernization effort.

Responsibilities

• Pull, patch, terminate, and test CAT5/CAT6 cabling
• Troubleshoot network cabling issues
• Work in network closets and follow site drawings/documentation
• Complete service tickets and project-related tasks
• Travel between local sites as needed

Requirements

• Experience with structured cabling installations
• Knowledge of CAT5/CAT6 termination and testing
• Familiarity with punch-down tools and cable testing equipment
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Charleston, SC.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
