Structural Steel Fabricator / CNC Operator

A growing steel fabrication company in the Rochester area is actively hiring experienced Structural Steel Fabricators, Miscellaneous Metals Fabricators, and CNC Operators to support a strong backlog of work. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable shop environment with consistent projects, hands-on training, and room for long-term growth.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate structural steel beams and columns
• Build stairs, railings, and custom metal components
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints
• Operate fabrication equipment and tools safely
• Perform fitting, layout, and assembly of steel components
• Work closely with experienced shop personnel to complete projects on schedule

Requirements

• Experience in structural steel, miscellaneous metals, or custom metal fabrication
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and shop prints
• Experience with beams, columns, stairs, railings, or similar steel products preferred
• CNC operating experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Willingness to learn and grow within the fabrication industry
• Background in structural steel fabrication shops, miscellaneous metals shops, stair and railing manufacturers, custom metal fabrication facilities, or welding and fabrication environments
