Structural & Payload Design Engineer 4 (contract)

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing-approved third party for the duration of the specified project. This is a non-managerial, non-leadership role requiring regular and predictable attendance.

About the Role

The BCA Structures organization is looking for structures analysis engineers with experience in aircraft structure design specializing in Landing Gear, Doors, or Windows (Flight Deck and/or Passenger). Location could be Everett or Renton, WA.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil (including approved Structural), Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Material Sciences) from an ABET-accredited university.
• 12+ years of related work experience in structures analysis.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience working on Boeing Structures commodities.
• Experience with 3D modeling such as CATIA/ENOVIA.
• Ability to excel in a highly dynamic, team-oriented atmosphere.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex, nuanced results clearly and concisely.
• Initiative and ability to recognize needs or scope of work without explicit guidance.
• Ability to provide technical solutions to a wide range of problems.
• Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Familiarity with DCCS, ETAC, or PDM.

Pay

Pay rate range: $86–$91 USD hourly.
