Structural Heart Coordinator - Cardiology Services (Full-Time, Days)

Compensation Range: $51.76 - $69.88 per hour, based on applicable experience.

Shift: Days, 8-hour shifts, fixed days off on Saturday & Sunday, 80 hours per pay period.

About the Role

The Structural Heart Coordinator is a licensed professional who works in a multidisciplinary environment, requiring exceptional interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, physicians, clinical, and administrative units. This role provides point-of-service care for Cardiac Cath Lab and Structural Heart customers and guests, manages incoming calls, schedules, attends meetings, and supports leadership needs.

The Structural Heart Coordinator supports the Structural Heart Coordinator-Lead by facilitating and coordinating all services and systems required for a multidisciplinary team approach to evaluating, treating, and following up with patients needing structural heart procedures, including TAVR, Watchman, MitraClip, and other emerging procedures. This specialized RN role requires knowledge of general cardiology, valvular disease, and both surgical and nonsurgical treatment approaches, as well as pre- and post-care for TAVR and interventional valve procedures.

This position provides patient care in accordance with Enloe Health’s standards, policies, and practices and is responsible for supporting data collection functions and operations in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Structural Heart Program. Responsibilities include managing data for TVT, STS, and other pertinent registries, creating and managing schedules, retrieving data, and submitting reports according to organizational timelines. The role involves working with Cardiac software programs, maintaining month-end data processes to ensure report integrity, and creating, updating, and maintaining quality indicator dashboards for decision-making and troubleshooting in the Cath Lab and Structural Heart Program.

Requirements

• Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing.
• Current BLS recognition.
• ACLS within six (6) months of hire.
• Software program experience (e.g., Microsoft Office applications, Adobe, etc.).
• Two years of cardiology, telemetry, or ICU experience.
• Clinical experience with percutaneous valve procedure patients.

Qualifications (Desired)

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, Nursing, or healthcare administration.
• Medical terminology knowledge.
• ACLS recognition.
• Cardiac Nursing Certification.
