Structural Heart Coordinator - Cardiology Svcs 7th Ave (Full-Time, Temporary, Days)
Position Summary
The Structural Heart Coordinator is a licensed professional who works in a multidisciplinary environment. Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining relationships with patients, physicians, and clinical units, providing point-of-service care for cardiac cath lab and structural heart customers and guests, managing incoming calls, scheduling, and attending meetings. Additionally, this role supports the Structural Heart Coordinator - Lead by facilitating and coordinating all services/systems required for an organized multidisciplinary team approach to patient care, including TAVR, Watchman, Mitra Clip, and other upcoming procedures.
This is a specialized RN role requiring knowledge of general cardiology, valvular disease, surgical, and nonsurgical approaches to treatment. It also involves supporting data collection functions and operations in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Structural Heart Program, creating, managing schedules, retrieving data, and submitting reports for organizational use.
Minimum: EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE
- Software program experience (i.e., all Microsoft Office applications, Adobe, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, Nursing, or healthcare administration
- Two years of cardiology or telemetry or ICU experience
- Clinical experience in percutaneous valve procedure patients
- Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nurses
- Current BLS recognition
- ACLS within six (6) months of hire
- Desired: ACLS recognition
- Cardiac Nursing Certification

- Proficient in Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint
- Thorough knowledge of hospital quality management operations
- Ability to analyze complex information systems and process descriptions and exercise judgment in defining system problems and solutions
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills essential for working in a complex, fast-paced working environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage complex projects simultaneously
