About the role

The Structural/Geotechnical Senior Project Engineer is responsible for leading complex structural and geotechnical projects from concept through completion. This role requires extensive experience in project management, design, and construction oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams in the planning, design, and execution of structural and geotechnical projects.
  • Oversee the technical aspects of project delivery, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of structural and geotechnical elements into the overall project scope.
  • Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance during construction phases.
  • Prepare and present project reports and progress updates to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in structural and geotechnical engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in applicable state(s).
  • Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project or similar tools.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS).
  • Knowledge of geotechnical principles and practices.
  • Experience with building codes and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
