About the role
This position is responsible for designing and overseeing structural engineering projects.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to develop project scopes and budgets.
- Conduct site inspections and gather necessary data for design.
- Prepare detailed structural designs and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
- Review and approve subcontractor work and ensure quality control.
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with other engineers and architects.
- Attend meetings and provide technical presentations as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the structural/seismic field.
- Current California Civil Engineering license.
- Current California Structural Engineering license.
- Experience with HCAI/OSHPD projects.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Skills
