Role Accountabilities
- Contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of structural solutions across a diverse portfolio of water infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative designs that balance technical excellence, sustainability, and constructability.
- Develop and evaluate structural design concepts based on site conditions, project objectives, regulatory requirements, and constructability considerations.
- Perform structural assessments and engineering analyses to support feasibility studies, planning efforts, and detailed design.
- Prepare high-quality technical deliverables, including engineering calculations, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and environmental engineers to deliver integrated, sustainable solutions that comply with applicable codes and standards.
- Support project delivery by assisting with budget tracking, schedule adherence, and coordination of project milestones.
- Participate in site visits, client meetings, and project-related travel as required.
Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience in structural design for water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in STAAD Pro.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
- A solid understanding of applicable codes and standards—such as the International Building Code (IBC) and American Concrete Institute (ACI) guidelines.
- Comfortable preparing and reviewing technical drawings, specifications, calculations, cost estimates, and schedules.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Thrives in collaborative environments and motivated by sustainability, resilience, and innovative problem-solving.
Qualifications & Experience
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field, 5 years of structural engineering design experience, preferably supporting water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline, EIT certification or PE license strongly preferred.
