Responsibilities
- Work on bridges, retaining walls, and other structural design efforts related to public and/or private bridge projects throughout the city.
- Prepare bridge/structural plans, specifications and estimates for clients.
- Perform a variety of engineering tasks and receive both on-the-job and formal training.
- Receive mentorship and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions.
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience with a civil engineering design firm.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from an ABET accredited university in the field of Civil Engineering.
- "Engineer-In-Training" or "Engineering Intern" certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
- Experience utilizing software programs for general structural analysis.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
- Able to work independently and as a team.

Kimley-Horn's Atlanta, Georgia (GA) office is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 2+ years of experience to join their Structures team. This is an on-site position.
