Key Responsibilities
- Design precast/prestressed beams, columns, double-tees, wall panels, and slabs for wind, seismic, and gravity loads.
- Analyze welded/bolted connections; calculate stresses for stripping, transport, and erection.
- Setup and organize our internal Engineering/Drafting department.
- Review and collaborate with Architects and Engineers for timely submittals.
- Perform regular hands-on QC checks on components during the casting process.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in commercial building design.
- Expertise: Strong background in precast and prestressed concrete design.
