Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop structural designs and perform calculations for steel, wood, concrete, and masonry structures.
• Conduct load assessments and stability analyses to ensure structural integrity.
• Perform site visits to monitor construction progress and verify compliance with design specifications.
• Prepare structural drawings, calculations, specifications, and construction documents.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable local, state, and federal building codes.
• Stay current with industry standards, materials, and engineering best practices.
• Work closely with project teams to integrate structural engineering into overall project planning.
• Maintain strong communication with clients, stakeholders, architects, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with structural engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Enercalc, STAAD, and Bluebeam.
• Strong understanding of structural design principles and applicable building codes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with advanced construction materials and methods.
