Position Details Job Title: Structural Engineer Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (12-Month Assignment) Location: Chandler, AZ 85286 Schedule: Monday-Friday | 9/80 Work Schedule Pay Rate Starting at : $69.74 per Hour Your Impact As a Structural Engineer, you will support the analysis and evaluation of aerospace structures, helping ensure they meet demanding performance, durability, and safety requirements. Your expertise in structural analysis, finite element modeling, and engineering assessments will contribute to the success of critical aerospace programs. What You'll Do Perform structural analysis on aerospace vehicles and support equipment.Analyze structural integrity, durability, damage tolerance, and design allowables.Develop and evaluate structural models using finite element analysis (FEA) tools.Conduct analyses related to:Structural stressFatigueDynamics and loadsStabilityThermal performanceUtilize NX CAD software and FEA tools to support engineering assessments.Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support product development and testing.Evaluate structural performance and recommend design improvements.Support development testing and validation activities.Document analysis results and communicate findings to engineering stakeholders. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) and 5+ years of related engineering experience; ORMaster's degree in a STEM discipline and 3+ years of related engineering experience; ORPhD in a STEM discipline and 1+ year of related engineering experience.Strong background in structural analysis and engineering principles.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.Proficiency with standard computer applications, including spreadsheets and word-processing software.Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance. This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license. Preferred Qualifications Master's or PhD in a related engineering field.Active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance or higher.Experience working with high-performance flight structures.Experience with:FEMAPNX NASTRANANSYSABAQUSOther finite element analysis software packagesExperience with high-temperature structural environments and structural mechanics.Knowledge of:Thermal loadingAdvanced high-temperature materialsStructural response analysisDevelopment testingFamiliarity with CMC (Ceramic Matrix Composite) material systems.Experience utilizing scripting, automation, or AI tools in engineering and data analysis.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
