Structural Engineer
About the role
We are seeking a Mid-level Structural Engineer with 4-6 years of experience in building design. The ideal candidate will transition from task-based work to taking independent design ownership. This role requires strong experience in steel and concrete structural systems, as well as exposure to seismic design, particularly on the West Coast.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze steel and concrete structural systems.
- Work independently, managing projects from conception through completion.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and seismic design standards.
- Utilize software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, and Revit for structural analysis and design.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project goals and timelines.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining organization and deadlines.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in structural engineering.
- Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, and Revit.
- Experience in seismic design, especially in the West Coast region.
- Strong background in structural analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, with seismic coursework preferred.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to cross-functional teams.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Bentley software is a plus.
- Experience working on large-scale commercial, healthcare, and institutional projects.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment with architects and other engineers.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85,000.00 - $105,000.00/yr.
