Structural Engineer

Responsibilities
- Lead and design facilities such as water and wastewater pump stations, treatment facilities for water and wastewater plants and conveyance and storage systems.
- Develop project specific technical reports, calculations, construction drawings and technical specifications with the support of local and national experts.
- Work with multi-discipline project teams.
- Manage time and budget.
- Use structural design and analysis software (STAAD.PRO, TEDDS, SAP2000, RAM Elements, RAM Structural System, Mathcad).
- Use office programs (WORD, EXCEL, OneNote, Teams) and review software (Bluebeam).
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience working as a structural engineer.
- Professional Engineer, (P.E.) license.
- Structural Engineer, (S.E.), or eligible to obtain license through reciprocity within six (6) months of hire is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a structural engineering emphasis; master’s degree in structural engineering preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with municipal or industrial water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems.
- Alternatively heavy civil (dams and hydro-electric), industrial or mining experience will be considered.
- Construction phase support services for the types of projects listed above.
- Experience working in multi-discipline project teams.
- Team oriented with strong capability to learn, mentor, and work independently while managing time and budget.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $102,900.00 to $207,100.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
