Responsibilities

  • Lead and design facilities such as water and wastewater pump stations, treatment facilities for water and wastewater plants and conveyance and storage systems.
  • Develop project specific technical reports, calculations, construction drawings and technical specifications with the support of local and national experts.
  • Work with multi-discipline project teams.
  • Manage time and budget.
  • Use structural design and analysis software (ETABS, STAAD, TEDDS, SAP2000, RAM Elements, MathCAD).
  • Use office programs (WORD, EXCEL, OneNote, Teams) and review software (BlueBeam).

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working as a structural engineer.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a structural engineering emphasis and a Masters degree in structural engineering is a plus.
  • Experience with municipal or industrial water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems.
  • Alternatively heavy civil (dams and hydro-electric), industrial or mining experience will be considered.
  • Construction phase support services for the types of projects listed above.
  • Team oriented with strong capability to learn, mentor, and work independently.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in multi-discipline project teams.
  • Experience with structural design and analysis software (ETABS, STAAD, TEDDS, SAP2000, RAM Elements, MathCAD).
  • Experience with office programs (WORD, EXCEL, OneNote, Teams) and review software (BlueBeam).

Skills

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $74,700.00 to $116,700.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
