Responsibilities
- Conduct forensic engineering analyses
- Provide expert opinions on structural and civil engineering issues
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex engineering problems
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Masters of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering (optional)
- 15+ years of practical experience in civil/structural engineering areas including:
- Commercial
- Municipal
- Residential
- Industrial design
- Construction safety
- Construction administration
- Construction management
- Registration as a Professional Engineer is required
- Knowledge of codes and standards
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Proven skills to independently multi-task to execute assignments on schedule
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Preferred: Masters of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Minimum 15 years of practical experience in civil/structural engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with forensic engineering software
